Ten years later, we still scoop dog poop

Ten years ago today, I received my articles of organization back from the State of Kentucky. PetCorps was born today under the name ReALife LLC.

A few years ago, I dropped the LLC and started doing business as a sole proprietorship.

Like it was yesterday, I remember being up late at night sitting at my computer searching for business startup ideas. When I discovered I could be a professional pooper scooper, it resonated with me on a deep level.

Knowing that people hated to clean up after the dog and knowing that dog poop could spread disease to people and pets, I saw the opportunity to help pet owners make life better for their families and pets.

After I started PetCorps, then I learned how dog waste was also harmful to the environment.

For 10 years, I have been on a mission to help people. I always saw what I do as a ministry even though I get paid to do it. While most people would avoid work like this, I know my work is meaningful and makes a difference in the lives of those I serve.

All of those dirty jobs are important. Garbage men, plumbers, auto mechanics, stable hands, and even pooper scoopers are indispensable services. What would the world be like without them?

To celebrate ten years in business, we have been running a special on clean up service all month. Get $10 off new clean up service subscriptions. This offer expires January 31. To claim it, use Promo Code DECADE when you visit http://petcorps.net/pooper-scooper.html

While PetCorps is only available in Central Kentucky, you can find a scooper in your area by visiting http://pooper-scooper.com or http://apaws.org.
