A little survey

I published my first eBook, Winter Pet Care Primer, 1st Edition last week and now I am getting to work on the next book.

The next eBook is intended to make the decision to adopt a dog easier. Some of the content comes from my blog archive, but I am also crafting new content that will add value to people who need a little bit of help understanding the full scope of adopting a dog. It is a big commitment after all.

If you are like me, you have known folks who have jumped the gun into pet ownership too soon. They usually end up surrendering their dog to a shelter or giving it away.

This new eBook is primarily about adopting a new puppy. It addresses some of the unforeseen challenges that could catch a first-time pet owner off guard.

I have some great content already but the more I think about this topic, the more I want input from pet owners.

Here is a question I posted to Facebook and Twitter today. I would love to hear your feedback. And, if there is a good story behind the answer, you could be featured in the eBook.

What is one thing you wish you had known before adopting your first dog?

We adopted our new puppy on December 30th from just as you said owners who just werent ready for their commitment of such a loveable little puppy! We knew it was time and since I have had dogs before and the fact I am at home full time we knew it was the right time to take on and train our new addition to the family!!! Definitely anyone who has not had a puppy or any furry addition should read your eBook Jasen!

Thank you, Christine! I am so happy to hear about your new addition. Glad you are in position to provide a forever home.

Since you’ve had dogs before, what would you say is something that surprised you about owning your first dog?
