It’s almost that time again…National Scoop the Poop week. This week, established by the dog waste removal industry, is an awareness week that recognizes how every dog should have its day.
Every year, ReALife LLC has participated in the awareness week. For every yard scooped, the Radcliff-based company makes a donation to a charity. Last year, inspired by Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, we chose the Remember Alex Brown foundation as the beneficiary for Scoop the Poop Week.
While it seems unusual that a pet waste removal company would support a don’t text and drive foundation, it really makes a lot of sense.
At ReALife LLC, we want our clients to pursue life and live better now. We also want that for our workers. And since our workers spend considerable time on the road driving, it is important to us as a company to promote safe driving practices. Therefore, we felt it appropriate to support the Remember Alex Brown Foundation.
This year, we return to our local area to support Hardin County Animal Control. We recently read how HCAC is preparing a new shelter for the animals. We want to support this, so for every yard we scoop during this year’s event, we will make a $5 donation to HCAC.
As always, National Scoop the Poop Week will take place April 1st through 7th.
